GAELIC GAMES Championship 2007 newsWaterford manager Justin McCarthy has made one change in personnel and a number of positional switches for Sunday's Munster hurling championship final against Limerick at Semple Stadium.
Kevin Moran comes in at full back, with Declan Prendergast switched to centre back and Ken McGrath named at left wing back. James Murray misses out entirely. Stephen Molumphy is moved to midfield alongside Michael Walsh, while Walsh's midfield partner from the semi-final victory over Cork, Jack Kennedy, goes to corner forward.
Eoin Kelly is named at full forward, with Séamus Prendergast switched to wing forward. Paul Flynn is named at wing forward.
The team named is not necessarily what which will take the field on Sunday as McCarthy is known to regularly keep his true line-up to himself until throw-in.
Meanwhile, Sligo have made two changes, both in the full-forward line, for the Connacht football final against Galway, with Adrian Marren and Philip Gallagher losing out as John McPartland and Brendan Egan come in. McPartland is named at corner forward alongside Mark Breheny who moves to full forward to accommodate Egan on the 40.
Galway manager Peter Ford has named an unchanged side from the semi-final victory over Leitrim.
Former underage International Rules star Shane O'Rourke makes his debut for the Meath footballers in Saturday's first-round qualifier against Down in Newry. The son of former Meath forward and current RTÉ pundit Colm, O'Rourke is named at full forward, thereby filling the void left by the recent departures of established forwards Graham Geraghty and Joe Sheridan.
There are three further changes from the team that lost to Dublin in the replayed Leinster quarter-final, with a fit-again Séamus Kenny replacing Stephen MacGabhann at wing back, while John Donegan and Brian Farrell take the other forward spots. Cian Ward loses his place.
Cavan manager Donal Keoghan makes five changes, and a host of alterations, to the team beaten by Down in the Ulster championship for their meeting with Mayo in Castlebar. Dermot Sheridan and Keith Fannin come into the full-back line, Martin Reilly is at wing back and Raymond Cullivan comes in at wing forward. Nicholas Walsh is named at midfield. Anthony Forde switches from centre back to centre forward in the absence of the suspended Michael Lyng.
Roscommon manager John Maughan has made just one change to the team beaten in the Connacht football semi-final by Sligo ahead of their game against Kildare as John Nolan replaces David Casey at centre back.
