The announcement of McGin ley's move from Luttrellstown Castle comes only five days after his triumph in the Oki Pro-Am. And the deal is further enhanced by his status as the reigning Smurfit Irish Professional champion, a title he won last month.

Meanwhile, Mike Slater fired a closing two-over-par 75 to win the European Seniors Tour Qualifying School at Hardelot with a one-over total of 219 yesterday.
