Bolton's forgotten man Stelios Giannakopoulos is set to get a rare chance to impress new boss Gary Megson when the Trotters resume their Uefa Cup campaign against Aris Salonika at the Reebok Stadium tonight.

The 33-year-old is desperate to play some part against his countrymen having had to settle for just one solitary League Cup start this season.

He said: "If you ask any player in the world if they are happy when they are not playing they will say no. But it is up to me to turn it around. I am settled here and I have no problems."

While bullish boss Gary Megson has sought to play down the impact of his side's historic 1-0 win over Manchester United on Saturday, it has certainly given his side a welcome boost ahead of their return to Europe.
