The tremendous will-to-win of the CBC Monkstown forwards was the basis of their Leinster Schools Senior Cup second round win over Newbridge College at Anglesea Road yesterday.

Whatever could go wrong did go wrong for CBC in the first half, while Newbridge made the most of their opportunities to carve out an 8-0 lead.

In the 50th minute, replacement wing Barry Power dived over for CBC near the left corner. And, when Newbridge drifted offside, it was left to Conor Dundon to kick the winning points.
