All-Ireland Intermediate Football Championship Semi-finals:Galway's Moycullen will meet Fingal Ravens of Dublin in the All-Ireland decider after both teams recorded victories yesterday.
Annascaul's top marksman for over a decade, Gene Farrell, missed a free in front of goal that would have brought the game against Moycullen to extra-time.
The final score of 0-9 to 0-8 was a cruel blow for the Kerry side in an highly-entertaining game at the Gaelic Grounds.
In the other semi-final, Fingal Ravens overcame Cavan side Ballinagh, 0-11 to 0-8, at Páirc Tailteann in Navan.
Fingal, coached by Mick Holden, employed the better tactics and simply frustrated Ballinagh's style of play.
