Munster

This rugby team of character are the flavour of the month

This rugby team of character are the flavour of the month. Fifteen thousand packed into Thomond Park last Saturday to see if Munster (above) could preserve the four-year unbeaten record. All season these players have illustrated that they don't know how to quit and, gloriously, the proved it again in Limerick. Keith Wood stole in for a try in the final minutes and then Ronan O'Gara stepped up to ice the kick and give the provincial team a 31-30 win. Keith Wood, Mick Galwey, Peter Clohessy . . this is a team full of irrepressible characters and already there is talk of the European Cup staying in Ireland.
