A brilliant injury-time try gave Munster victory in their A Interprovincial clash with Leinster at Musgrave Park on Saturday. Conor Burke came to Munster's rescue when he grabbed his second try right at the death to leave him with a personal tally of 24 points (two tries, two penalties and four conversions). Alan Quinlan, Noel Healy and Mike Kenworthy were Munster's other try scorers but Leinster, after trailing 13-31 at the break, played superbly in the second half.
They had a first half try from Peter Coyle, two penalties and a conversion from Richard Governey and then led 35-34 going into injury time but it was not enough to sustain them against Munster's late rally.
