Celtic League / Glasgow v Munster: Two Scottish internationals, wing Rory Kerr and prop Matt Proudfoot, return to a Glasgow line-up in which there are eight changes, one of them positional, from the team which lost to Connacht last Friday.
While Munster, too, have made a number of changes and begin with the back line that finished last week, as well as rotating several of the pack, Alan Gaffney's side will arrive in Hughenden with enough confidence to know they can secure a semi-final place.
Jody Danaher makes his first start of the season at hooker, while former Irish under-21 captain Stephen Keogh comes into the back row and Trevor Hogan settles into the second row for Eddie Halvey.
It will be the first time the sides have met in any competition, as they managed to avoid each other in the European Cup and Celtic League. But Munster have been showing the slightly better form, with seven points in the league to Glasgow's four, although both clubs have won just one match.
Glasgow are more of an unknown quantity than the reigning champions, with their wholesale changes. Also, Daniel Parks, an Australian outhalf, and David Milliard, from Aberdeen, make their season debuts.
It will be interesting to see how the mercurial Jeremy Staunton plays at outhalf in partnership with scrumhalf Eoin Reddan. Staunton took over from the injured Conrad O'Sullivan last week and was asked by Gaffney to hold on to the job for another week at least.
From Staunton's point of view this may be the making of him, as his ability at 10 has long been seen as more impressive than his play from full back.
Munster have been freshened up and will be anxious to come off last week's defeat by Neath-Swansea with a more convincing performance.
