Munster were the dominant force throughout yesterday's Under-20 interprovincial at Thomond Park but the Exiles always played with spirit and skill and maintained a high level of interest throughout an always entertaining game.
Munster included no fewer than five UCC backs in their side and their pace and footballing skills were always in evidence. Wingers Rory Collins and Daragh Holt both crossed for two tries while there was one each for the Skerries full-back Dermot O'Sullivan and the Old Crescent number eight Paul Neville. Lansdowne centre Ray Niland converted two of the six tries.
Dermot Blaney of St Mary's University and Ron Rawlinson (Orrell) scored tries for the Exiles while Simon Bond of Richmond kicked a penalty and Gordon Coletta from London Irish landed a conversion.
