Ray Murphy from Arklow was a clear winner of the first Leinster Alliance outing of the season at Tulfarris. The seven handicapper from Arklow shot a nett 66, six shots better than second place Keith Davis (Courtown) with Tom Freeman from Castlewarden and Alan Power from the Castle filling the next two places on 74. Local five handicapper Alaistair Smith won the gross with 83 from Shay Kennedy (Grange) while the professional prize was won by Alan Thomas from Old Conna with a 75. The next outing is the president's (Michael Twomey) prize at the Grange on June 24th.
