Dublin SFC/Na Fianna 0-15 St Oliver Plunketts 0-12: Na Fianna survived the second half sendings-off of Enda Ledwith and Senan Connell as they overcame some spirited resistance from St Oliver Plunketts in an exciting Dublin senior football championship second round tie at Parnell Park yesterday.
Kieran O'Neill was hugely influential for Na Fianna and scored eight points while Jason Sherlock shot over on three occasions.
Sherlock had a penalty appeal waved away midway through the second half when he tumbled under the challenge of Robbie Glynn. A free, however, was awarded and O'Neill duly converted to seal Na Fianna's victory.
