There was no love lost between Munster captain Mick Galwey and Harlequins skipper Keith Wood at the Stoop yesterday when the men in red took on Quins in the European Cup.
Wood was forced to watch his team's 48-40 victory from the bench after his long-time friend and international colleague struck him in the face in the 38th minute.
"I did not mean to punch him in the face and offered him my apologies immediately," said Galwey. Wood was not convinced the punch was accidental. "I'm not sure I would accept that, but of course I accepted his apology." Anyway, said Wood with a grin, "I will get him back in the return match in a few weeks' time."
