Following their famous victory over Merrion to reach their first All Ireland Royal Liver Senior Cup final, a buoyant North County side are involved in two further stamina-sapping matches this weekend.
They re-engage Merrion in a vital Whitney Moore and Keller Leinster Senior League game at Anglesea Road today in what promises to be another absorbing encounter, while tomorrow local enthusiasts should be out in force as they host Clontarf for another testing league tie at The Nevitt.
A double victory would certainly place them in the favourities position to add the league title to this season's growing list of trophies.
Astutely led by skipper John Andrews, the North County side have proved to be a resilient unit with the ingredients of adventurous batting, hard work in the field, and a bowling attack of varied proportions the hallmark of so many of their victories so far this season.
The two other section A matches today see CYM pit their strength against Phoenix at Terenure, with YMCA entertaining The Hills at Claremont Road.
Pembroke are the favourites to emerge winners of section B but they can expect a strong challenge from free-scoring Munster at Sydney Parade today.
Munster are also in action tomorrow when they visit Park Avenue to play Railway Union in what should prove to be a tight tussle for supremacy.
