Leicestershire left-arm spinner Matthew Brimson hit the headlines this week when a team picture showed him with a broad smile and, apparently, in a state of undress.
Leicestershire issued an apology and 29-yearold Brimson has now said that he is quitting cricket at the end of the season having been offered a teaching job in a public school.
Brimson's name came to national prominence when the apparent prank came to light in the new edition of the Wisden Cricket Almanack, which appears to show him exposing himself. Editor, Matthew Engel pointed out that to successfully carry off such a prank one really needed to be more "impressively arrayed".
