Milan was a rare classic miss for the Ballydoyle team in yesterday's French Derby but Imagine will have a maximum of 14 opponents when she tries for to add Friday's Epsom Oaks to her Irish 1,000 Guineas triumph.

Aidan O'Brien has resisted the temptation to go multi-handed to a classic race and Imagine will be his only runner in the contest.

O'Brien and Michael Kinane will be at Naas today where they run a hotpot in the opener that should scoot in and another half an hour later that could be a lot more vulnerable.

Sophisticat could not be bred any better, being out of the multi-Grade 1 winner Serena's Song, but that didn't stop her running very green on her Leopardstown debut behind High Society. With that experience under her belt, the big players are likely to be on her with a vengeance.

Darwin will probably be odds on for the conditions race on the back of an easy Tipperary win and the form being shown by the O'Brien horses in general. With 25 domestic winners already this season, the Ballydoyle team have a close on one in three success rate but Irene Oakes could briefly disrupt that in the shape of her runner Frosty Wind.

Royal South has been placed in his two flat starts this term but won't have stalls to contend with in the handicap hurdle and will also get his ground.
