Aidan O'Brien's remarkable run of success with his two-year-old team may not be over for the season as either Royal Kingdom and Bach will line up in next Sunday's Criterium de St Cloud in France and a tilt at both Breeders Cup races on Saturday week is currently being formulated.
The Ballydoyle trainer reported yesterday that Aristotle, his fifth Group One success of the term in the Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster on Saturday, is being put into winter quarters along with Lermontov and Zentsov Street but added: "Royal Kingdom and Bach are possibles for the Grand Criterium de St Cloud over 10 furlongs next Sunday."
As for Gulfstream Park, O'Brien described Warrior Queen as a "likely" runner in the fillies' race and said he could have more than one runner in the colts' race if they manage to qualify.
"Five have been entered including Zentsov Street, but I would imagine he is finished for the season. The others are Mull Of Kintyre, Brahms, Thady Quill and Bach. We will have to wait until closer to the time to see, but hopefully something will get in," he said.
