Barry Kennedy rounded off a good display with a late goal for Dublin to ensure a penalty shoot-out against the Dublin Stars at Naomh Mearnóg on Saturday. The Stars eventually prevailed courtesy of strikes from Bernard Brogan and Kevin Leahy.
Goals from Brogan and Leahy helped the Stars lead 2-4 to 1-6 at the break. Donal Ryan and Kevin McManamon added goals for the club side but the county men dominated to the end.
