Naomh Mearnog 1-11 Whitehall Colmcilles 0-8: Cillian O'Driscoll inspired Naomh Mearnog to victory as they overcame Whitehall Colmcilles in their Dublin senior football championship first round replay at Parnell Park yesterday.

O'Driscoll contributed 1-6 to his team's win and scored the only goal of the game after Whitehall's Hugh McInerney had a disputed "goal" ruled out following a push.

Whitehall were trailing at the interval and their chances of clawing back the five-point deficit were not helped when Darragh Joyce was sent off shortly after the break. Mearnog will play Raheny in round two.
