Professional boxing returns to Dublin at a new venue on January 22nd when Vicar Street in the Liberties will host a five-bout bill. Topping that will be the young Kildare man Cathal O'Grady in a cruiserweight contest against the highly-rated Wolverhampton boxer Nigel Rafferty.

Adding local interest to the night will be the appearance after nine unbeaten professional fights of Dubliner, Jim Rock, who will meet Jimmy Vincent from Birmingham while Willie Valentine takes on Graham McGrath from Leeds in an interesting bantamweight contest.

Also appearing on the bill is Neil Sinclair, the former Irish middleweight champion from Belfast.
