Championship 2003: Kerry manager Páidi Ó Sé has made a few surprise selections for Sunday's Munster football championship semi-final against Tipperary.
Johnny Crowley, Declan O'Sullivan and Liam Hassett have all been given places in the forward line, with the likes of Mike Frank Russell, Dara Ó Cinnéide and Aodán Mac Gearailt all starting on the bench.
The full back position has also been handed to Eamonn Fitzmaurice, freeing Seamus Moynihan to return to the centre back position. Seamus Scanlon will partner Darragh Ó Sé at midfield. Declan O'Sullivan, of Dromid Pearses, however, is the sole championship debutant.
Dublin manager Tommy Lyons has given first championship starts to Tom Mulligan and Liam Óg Ó hEineacháin for the second Leinster football semi-final against Laois at Croke Park on Sunday. Their introductions are part of three changes from the team that started against Louth in the quarter-final, with Paul Casey also starting at right half back to the exclusion of David Henry.
Opponents Laois will name their team after training tomorrow night. Defender Tom Kelly is the main injury concern with a dislocated finger, while Colm Parkinson is still sidelined with hamstring problems.
In hurling, Galway manager Conor Hayes introduces three debutants for their championship opener against Clare, one of the first round games of the All-Ireland qualifier series in Cusack Park on Saturday. Centre back Tony Óg Regan, wing back Declan O'Brien and midfielder John Conroy are all called into the frame for what will be Galway's first competitive game in seven weeks.
Tipperary make numerous changes for their qualifier against Laois, with Tommy Dunne named at centre half back in place of David Kennedy, and Denis Byrne at full forward. Other changes see Thomas Costello, Eddie Enright and Mark O'Leary return.
Meanwhile, Dublin hurler Keith Wilson has received a 12-week suspension from the GAC for his straight red card in the drawn Leinster preliminary final against Laois.
