Cyril Cuddy (Laois midfield): One of the key players for his workload alone. Fast, fit and very strong, he can read the game very well and works hard off the ball also which is not often noticed. His lack of height may see him pushed about a bit although he is a constant threat and very much the engine room of the team.
Tony Browne (Waterford midfield): Plays a very similar style to myself and for a small man is very good in the air. Everywhere I tried to go in the semi-final he went with me and I was very surprised by his work-rate and fitness. He showed great delivery of the ball into the forward line and what he lacks in size he makes up for with his ability to pick up the lose ball at midfield and quick to cover the breaking ball.
