The Dún Laoghaire sailor joined Brewster in August 2013 prior to the World Championships and came away from that with some top-five results. Their entry to Rio earlier in 2016 was as a wildcard after the withdrawal of the Algerian entry, thus becoming Ireland’s first ever women’s Olympic skiff crew. Ireland was first in line for the African spot by virtue of their 2015 World Championship performance in Argentina last November, where the pair finished 14th overall. Left Rathdown School in 2011, where she was also a talented netball player who represented Ireland at under-18 level.
