WEXFORD SHC SEMI-FINALS Oulart-the-Ballagh 4-18 St Aidan's, Ferns 0-15:REIGNING CHAMPIONS Oulart-the-Ballagh put St Aidan's, Ferns to the sword in this one-sided semi-final at Wexford Park yesterday.
Oulart raced into a 2-2 to 0-3 lead, the goals coming through David Redmond and Rory Jacob, and Nickey Kirwan’s 30th-minute goal saw the holders lead 3-9 to 0-8 at the interval.
After 41 minutes a goalkeeping error from Michael Walsh allowed Oulart’s Garrett Sinnott in for a goal leaving it 4-10 to 0-11 and the remainder of the game was played out at a pedestrian pace.

St Martin’s 0-16 Buffers Alley 1-12:
BARRY LAMBERT hit 10 points as St Martin’s ended the Buffers Alley challenge in this opening semi-final. St Martin’s, with Eoin Quigley dominant in midfield, led 0-10 to 0-5 at the interval. Keith Burke helped close the gap to 0-11 to 0-8 and after 47 minutes Pat Doran forced home a Buffers goal to leave the score on 0-12 to 1-8.
The sides traded points but St Martin’s stayed in front, Willie Devereux’s sideline cut giving them a two-point lead. A James Foley point reduced the gap to the minimum but in added time Pat Doran almost forced a replay.
