Royal Dublin members made a clean sweep of the major awards at the Esat Digifone-sponsored Woodbrook Scratch Cup over the weekend with Lee Owens winning the gross and Ross O'Siochain taking the nett prize. Owens, with rounds of 73 and 70 for a 143 total, had two shots to spare over Julien Keown of Greystones and local Bryan McSweeney, with Eoin O'Connor of Elm Park next on 147. An excellent second round of 69 off a four handicap gave O'Siochain the nett prize on 144 from Brian Whitaker (Elm Park) and Robert Hogan (Woodbrook). Meanwhile Limerick's Tim Rice took the honours at the Shannon Scratch Cup.
