BBC 2 (8.00 pm) World Snooker Final: A tasty quarter of a million pounds awaits tonight's winner of the biggest event (by far) in the snooker calendar with Ronnie O'Sullivan and John Higgins battling it out over the final session.

TV3 (7.30 pm) Champions League: David O'Leary's young team make the trip to Spain to face Valencia in the semi-final second leg of the European Champions League. But, as they've shown in the competition to date, Leeds tend to travel well and Valencia will be wise not to underestimate the threat posed by the only surviving English club in the championship.

BBC 1 (2.40 pm) Golf 2001: The European Tour, after an early-season that took in the Far East, Australia and Dubai before finally landing on the continent of Europe three weeks ago finally reaches England for the Benson and Hedges International Open at The Belfry, venue for the Ryder Cup later this year. All of the European big guns are in town for the show.
CHANNEL 4 (9.00 pm) Football Stories: This week, attention is focused on Kevin Keegan. As a 16year-old he couldn't even make the factory football team, but he was to prove one of the most successful footballers of his generation, both in England and in Germany. This documentary charts his career through the 70s when he won fame wherever he went, and how he almost repeated it as a manager two decades later.
