This year alone he sold 6 million shares in Domino’s Pizza – it has 550 outlets in Britain and Ireland – pocketing €29.6 million. He still retains 18.3 million shares, which equates to an 11.3 per cent stake in the company. With extensive property and equity interests at the start of this year his personal fortune was estimated at €188 million.

NICK LESLAU(20 per cent shares) Prestury Investment Holdings (UK). Born in Cricklewood, north London, and educated at Mill Hill Public School like Wray, the property tycoon is worth an estimated worth €228 million. In 2001, Leslau set up Prestbury Investment Holdings of which he is now chairman and chief executive. The company owns a property portfolio estimated to be worth €2.5 billion. He appeared on Channel 4's Secret Millionaire programme, giving away €342,000 on a 10-day visit to Possil in Glasgow.
DOMINIC SILVESTER(10 per cent shares) CEO Enstar Group (Bermuda) He has been the chief executive officer of Enstar Group Ltd (formerly, Castlewood Holdings) since 2001 and has been chairman of the board since August 20th. Silvester has also served as the president of Enstar Group Ltd. In 1993, he began a business venture in Bermuda to provide run-off services to the insurance and reinsurance industry and prior to that held, amongst other positions, the role of senior auditor in the Bermuda office of Deloitte Touche. He serves as a director of Saracens Ltd.
MORNE DU PLESSISA director of South Africa Investments Ltd (SAIL) and a co-founder of the Sports Science Institute in South Africa and the Bioenergetics of Exercise unit at the University of Cape Town. He is a former Springbok captain and a hugely successful one, leading his country 15 times in 22 Tests including series wins over New Zealand (1976) and the Lions (1980). His father, Felix, also captained South Africa and they are the only father and son to do so. He was the manager when South Africa won the 1995 World Cup.
FRANCOIS PIENAARThe captain of the 1995 World Cup winning South African side has filled the role of player/coach, director of rugby and chief executive officer at Saracens.
CAROLINE RUPERT(50 per cent shares) A daughter of South African business billionaire Johann Rupert – he has two and a son – who has an estimated fortune of €4.3 billion. Her father is the eldest son of the late South African tycoon Anton Rupert, who started a business with £10 in his garage and built in into a multinational conglomerate. It now spans luxury goods (Mont Blanc, Dunhill, Cartier), finance, mining and sundry other interests.
