Athlone Town v Cobh Ramblers (St Mel's Park, 7.30)
Thanks to Eric Molloy's late heroics for the second round running, Athlone's cup luck appears in. And with the winners having a home draw they are well capable of winning against either Waterford United or UCD, the First Division leaders may have already fleetingly thought of a semi-final place.
Athlone are boosted by the return from suspension of central defender Conor Frawley while striker Stephen Mullen is also available again after a foot injury.
Cobh defender John Murphy has had no reaction to the groin strain he carried into the first game and is fit to start in what should be an unchanged team.
Referee: J O'Neill (Waterford).
Betting: Home: 8/13; Draw: 9/4; Away: 4/1.
Next round: winners at home to UCD or Waterford United in quarter-finals.
Kilkenny City v Cherry Orchard (Buckley Park, 7.30)
Cherry Orchard may feel their chance of an upset has gone with their failure to take the scalp of struggling Kilkenny at the first attempt.
But manager Paul O'Brien feels the fact that Carlos Rocha, the Premier Division side's star turn, is suspended for this evening's replay is a major boost to the LSL side's hopes.
Central defender Colm Byrne (groin) is a big doubt while O'Brien hopes a flu bug hasn't affected his options further.
In the absence of Rocha, Warren Parkes is likely to start up front with Mick O'Byrne for Kilkenny with Barry O'Neill coming in on the right-side of midfield.
Referee: J. Feighery (Dublin).
Betting: Home: 4/5; Draw: 9/4; 11/4.
Next round: Winners away to Bohemians in quarter-finals.
St Patrick's v Longford Town (Richmond Park, 7.30)
Longford manager Stephen Kenny will look to his side's best performance of the season to motivate his players ahead of this replay.
That came back in September when Longford came away from Richmond Park with a 4-2 win in the league.
Kenny has midfielder Stephen Kelly back from suspension and injury but is unlikely to make any changes from the side that finished Saturday's 0-0 draw at Flancare Park.
With midfielder Paul Osam still nursing a hamstring strain, St Patrick's starting 11 is also likely to be unchanged from Saturday.
Referee: R. O'Hanlon (Waterford).
Betting: Home: 8/11; Draw: 9/4; Away: 100/30
Next round: Winners away to Portmarnock or Dundalk in quarter-finals
Shelbourne v Derry City (Tolka Park, 7.30)
Right winger Richie Baker is over a hamstring strain and fully fit to start as Shelbourne are likely to revert to a 4-4-2 line-up.
Derry played man for man at the Brandywell on Saturday night and stifled Shelbourne's attack so Dermot Keely will be keen to instil a bit more width tonight.
Pat Fenlon is struggling with flu and may miss out. James Keddy should drop to play deeper on the left with Paul Doolin and Jim Crawford in the centre of the field.
Derry boss Kevin Mahon will wait to see how Shelbourne line up before selecting. Liam Coyle, who finished the match on Saturday despite not having played in almost two months, is set to start again.
Referee: H. Byrne (Dublin).
Betting: Home: 8/13; Draw: 9/4; Away: 4/1.
Next round: Winners at home to Shamrock Rovers in quarter-finals
Waterford United v UCD (RSC, 7.45)
With three players - captain Alan Reynolds, Paul Scully and Kevin Whittle - suspended, Waterford are forced to reshuffle their midfield in the replay of what most people would agree was the match of the competition so far.
Brendan Rea looks set to start in central defence following injury with Dave Whittle, playing under appeal of suspension, likely to be pushed up into midfield. Paul Cashin and Tony Scully are also possible starters there.
Robbie Martin could be in line to start as Kevin Grogan, whose penalty forced this replay, is out with a groin strain.
Referee: P. Whelan (Dublin).
Betting: Home: 9/4; Draw: 9/4; Away: evens.
Next round: WInners away to Athlone Town or Cobh Ramblers in quarter-finals.
