Thurles’ jumps meeting next Monday has been cancelled due to a waterlogged track.

With parts of the course unraceable, the situation has been exacerbated by the prospect of further rainfall at the County Tipperary circuit.

The feature race was the Thurles Racecourse Supporters Club Steeplechase, a Listed affair over two and a quarter miles.

Horse Racing Ireland announced the meeting will be rescheduled for Friday, January 8.
