Eire Og 0-12 Dromard 0-4: Eire Óg's right full forward Simon Rea gave a clinical exhibition of point scoring as he led his club to an impressive eight-point win over Dromard of Longford at Dr Cullen Park, Carlow, yesterday.
The former Leinster player shot nine points, seven from play, and, further out the field, veteran centre forward Jody Morrissey also had a superb match, his vision and distribution being a critical factor in the victory. Eire Óg's reward for this win is a home quarter-final meeting against Kildare champions Sarsfields.
