England forward Lawrence Dallaglio has signed a two-year contract extension with Wasps. The 33-year-old began his career with the club and looks set to finish it with them.
"I'm delighted to have re-signed for the club, which means in effect that I'll finish my playing career where I started, at Wasps," he said.
"The last three years in particular have gone very well for everyone at the club, and over the next two years we will continue to drive the club forward with the aim of maintaining that level of success.
"When a player thinks about re-signing, a number of factors come into consideration. There is, of course, a financial element, but more important are family priorities and the consideration of where, as a player, you can gain the opportunity to play the best rugby.
"This club has always been about offering players the possibility of playing the best rugby they can, maximising their potential and opportunities.
"Therefore, I'm very happy to be continuing my long and proud association with London Wasps."
Ireland flanker Johnny O'Connor yesterday extended his contract at the club.
