The Ryder Cup is continuing to cause ripples across the golfing horizon. Justin Leonard - he who danced across the green after sinking a 40-foot putt - appears to think that Europe is currently a no-go area for Americans.
The Dunhill Cup, which takes place next weekend in Scotland, will not tempt the 1997 Open champion and he's also having second thoughts about the World Championship next month.
"I'm wondering if I should step out of the country," he said. "Maybe I should cancel my flight to Spain to play in the World Championship at Valderrama in November. If I do go to Spain, it will be like I'm wearing a bull's-eye on my back."
All, apparently, has changed in golf, changed utterly.
