Seapoint GC is looking forward to hosting the Irish Regional finals of the Lombard Trophy later this year. They have already decided who will team up with resident professional David Carroll in the event.

Pat Joy won the monthly medal last Sunday to earn the chance of emulating Tasso Sambanidis who partnered Carroll to national success last year. Sambanidis is known in the club as `The Greek New Yorker' but Portugal is the aim for Joy and Carroll, who will be hoping to use local knowledge in the national tests to earn a trip to the European finals in San Lorenzo.
