Cardinal Hill (Supreme Novices' Hurdle): "Tiananmen Square was exceptional, but this fellow has more speed and is pretty exceptional too. He is a very clean-winded horse, so I'm not worried about him fitness wise. I'm confident he is the best of the Irish. I'm hopeful he will be on the bridle for much of the way."
Cockney Lad (Arkle Trophy): "He is 10-years-old but he bounces over the fences like a rubber ball. If he fires he will give His Song a helluva race."
Advocat (Arkle Trophy): "Norman Williamson is very keen to ride him because he says he will be travelling better than most for most of the race. The trip is right for him."
Nomadic (Champion Hurdle): "Istabraq looks in a different league. Bar a fall he looks the winner but our horse could only win as he did at Gowran Park and we think he will be in the first four."
Winter Garden (SunAlliance Hurdle): "He was rated 107 on the flat in France and he's not a bad horse. He is much better on goodish ground."
Hill Society (Queen Mother Chase): "He has never got his ground this year. It's an open race, but Hilly likes the place and if he gets decent ground he has his chance in a not very good year."
Ingonish (Bumper): "A genuine, hardy horse who won at Fairyhouse and then got a race in the stewards' room at Leopardstown. That race turned into a sprint which didn't suit him and he has improved since then.
Frozen Groom & Miss Emer (Triumph Hurdle): "Frozen Groom has lots of speed and will run well if he settles. Miss Emer is a bit of a madam, but when she's right, she's not bad at all."
Sallie's Girl (Stayers' Hurdle): "She keeps surprising me and is as tough as nails. Her last race was her easiest because she wasn't doing a stroke in front, but she fights well."
