SPANISH PRIMERA LIGA:SEVILLA SNATCHED all three points in a game of two halves after Real Madrid had come from two goals behind to level and then had Arjen Robben sent off.
On day when Real president Ramon Calderon survived a vote of confidence in the conference hall, Real Madrid were unable to do the same in a game that either side could have won.
The home supporters jeered their team off at half-time after Adriano Correia, N'Dri Romaric and Frederic Kanoute had all scored to put Sevilla into a 3-1 lead, with Raul scoring for Real, but then backed their side as they fought back to level. Gonzalo Higuain and Fernando Gago scored the goals that gave the reigning champions parity.
But there was to be no heroic comeback as Robben's red card set the hosts back and Renato nodded home a dramatic winner with five minutes remaining and the supporters in the Bernabeu's jeering returned.
Meanwhile, Thierry Henry scored a hat-trick as Barcelona crushed Valencia 4-0 at Camp Nou to move six points clear at the top of the Primera Liga on Saturday.
The France striker struck twice in the first half and added a third near the end of the match after Daniel Alves had made it 3-0 in the 46th minute.
Barca moved on to 35 points from 14 matches, making the most of second-placed Villarreal's come-from-behind 3-3 draw at home to Getafe after they were 3-0 down at half-time.
Valencia stay third with 27 points, two behind Villarreal. Sevilla climb to fourth on the same number of points while Real are now fifth with 26.
With Samuel Eto'o suspended, Henry took on the "number nine" role at the Camp Nou. He raced on to Yaya Toure's long pass to lob the opener in the 20th minute and finished off a sweeping passing move that started in Barca's own area for his second soon after.
Brazil's Alves burst down the right to score and substitute Bojan Krkic laid on Henry's third in the 79th after a great run off the right flank.
