With the season finishing next Monday and both jockeys on 24 winners, they have decided not to ride for the rest of the week.

It is an echo of the famous title sharing between John Francome and Peter Scudamore in the early 1980s. Scudamore held a lead until he was injured and Francome stopped riding once he had equalled the total.

It also completes a notable double for Fenton, who previously held the British amateur jockeys title.

That leaves the way open for their colleagues at Ballinrobe this evening when the bumper is the last contest in yet another eight-race slog.

There are a number of unraced animals that could prove dangerous to the likes of Paircin and Gallaher's Walk, and maybe Charlie Swan's Mandalink, with John O'Meara on board, can be the solution.

Sir Oracle was a very easy winner at Dundalk earlier in the month and goes again in the handicap. The form of his win has been boosted since by the third, Strategic Intent, and Sir Oracle can go in again.

Honey Trader, a fast-finishing runner-up to Colonel George at Leopardstown over hurdles last Wednesday, is the marginal choice in the Beginners Chase.
