Liverpool unveiled new signings Ryan Babel and Yossi Benayoun at a press conference at Anfield yesterday. Highly-rated 20-year-old Dutch international Babel was a €17 million purchase from Ajax; he can play as a striker or on either wing.
Midfielder Benayoun (27) is a €7.4 million recruit from West Ham United and has won 50 international caps with Israel.
Northern Ireland international David Healy has been reunited with former international manager Lawrie Sanchez after he was signed by Fulham from Leeds United for €2.2 million. The 27-year-old striker - scorer of 29 goals in 59 appearances for his country - has signed a four-year deal with the London club. Healy's arrival at Craven Cottage came just hours after the club completed a €2.9 million deal for West Ham United left back Paul Konchesky.
Sevilla have signed Dutch defender Khalid Boulahrouz (25) after he agreed a one-year loan deal from Chelsea. Sevilla said they have an option to make the loan deal permanent next year for €8.5 million.

Sunderland have announced their squad's pre-match training sessions in Dublin, Cork and Galway, where the club is due to play pre-season friendlies on July 28th, 30th and August 1st respectively, will be open to the public. The sessions will take place at Malahide United (3.30pm) on Friday the 27th, ahead of the following night's match against Bohemians and then at Turner's Cross and Terryland Park at the same time on the Sunday and Tuesday. Meanwhile, the Premiership club have completed the signing of striker Michael Chopra (23) in a deal which could be worth up to €7.5 million to Cardiff.
