Portsmouth's bid to avoid relegation from the Premiership has seen them sign winger Wayne Routledge on loan from Tottenham until the end of the season.
Manager Harry Redknapp has put the 21-year-old, who has made only three appearances for Spurs since signing from Crystal Palace last July, straight into the squad to play Bolton at Fratton Park on Wednesday.
He becomes the seventh player to be brought in by Redknapp during the January transfer window. Former Tottenham team-mates Pedro Mendes, Sean Davis and Noe Pamarot all signed permanent contracts in a triple-deal in mid January, reported to be worth £7million.
Benjamin Mwaruwari was brought in for a club record £4.1million while Emmanuel Olisadebe was signed from Panathinaikos and goalkeeper Dean Kiely from Charlton.
