World Cup legend Pele believes England has a strong case to host the tournament in 2018.
Pele said: "England is always prepared for a World Cup. England have proved already they have good stadiums and no need to build new stadiums, so no doubt."
Ruud silence
The Los Angeles Galaxy refused to comment last night on reports Ruud Gullit was set to become their coach. A report on Sky Sports suggested the former Chelsea and Newcastle boss would take over from Frank Yallop in March.
