Charlie Swan's Punchestown Tips: 2.00 - Ever Onward has a good record in this race and he looks like he can bring off the hat-trick.
SELECTION: Ever Onward.
2.35 - Davids Lad will be hard to beat. He was impressive over the banks on Tuesday and even though the going might be testing, and the trip is a marathon four-miles plus, they don't use the track much and the ground might not be as bad. Shady Lad was second to Davids Lad on Tuesday and he could fill the same spot now.
SELECTION: Davids Lad.
3.10 - Akilak looks the one. The Irish four-year-olds don't look a great bunch this season and Strangely Brown looks the best of them. He will be a danger but Akilak was third in the Triumph at Cheltenham and if he can run to that sort of mark again he should win.
SELECTION: Akilak.
3.45 - The ground looks like it might have gone for Fota Island so I think that leaves Watson Lake with a big chance. He will love soft going, two miles is best for him, and Noel Meade's horses are in great form.
War Of Attrition is one he will have to beat but I'm pretty happy that that horse needs further than this two miles.
SELECTION: Watson Lake.
4.20 - Solerina will take all the beating because I'm convinced she is so much better going right-handed.
That's the key. Her best form is in the Hatton's Grace at Fairyhouse which is over two and a half miles but importantly she is also going the right way in that race. I know there are a lot of people who have concerns about the three miles but I feel she will be okay.
When she ran in the Stayers at Cheltenham she jumped to the right the whole time which really harmed her chance. On this course she will be fine. It will be interesting to see if Emotional Moment takes Solerina on for the lead. It could be quite a tactical race but the mare will do for me.
SELECTION: Solerina.
4.55 - I run three in this. They all will be okay on the ground but Ransboro looks like he has the best chance.
Having said that he is a little better going left-handed.
It will be a tough race and if it turns into a slog What Odds is the one you would want.
SELECTION: What Odds.
5.30 - Oulart won the Pertemps at Cheltenham but he has a lot of weight on his back this time. Arthur Moore's handicappers are doing quite well this week and Mansony won on Tuesday for him. Maybe Derawar can run well for him here.
SELECTION: Derawar.
6.05 - Of Course won less than two week ago at Tipperary and managed to do it on very soft ground.
Willie Mullins has already scored here at the festival and he's a hard man to beat in bumpers. The Spoonplayer could be the danger.
SELECTION: Of Course.
