Kerry SFC Semi-final/South Kerry 1-11 West Kerry 1-8: Champions South Kerry had to withstand a West Kerry fightback at Austin Stack Park before advancing to this year's county final.The game was balanced until a sweeping South Kerry move was finished to the net by Declan O'Sullivan to help his side to a 1-7 to 0-6 lead at half-time.
Just after the restart Bryan Sheehan was decked by a West Kerry player but the incident went unseen by match officials. Sheehan, however, picked himself up and pointed two frees.
In the 46th minute it was West Kerry's Declan O'Sullivan's turn to score a goal and points from Seán Farrell and Brendan Hannafin closed the gap to one.
Sheehan converted a 45, however, and then Seán Fogarty sealed the win with a late point.
