Connacht SF Semi-final/ St Brigid's 1-11 Kiltubrid 1-7: Strong finishes to both halves by St Brigid's proved decisive in an absorbing Connacht club football semi-final replay before over 2,000 supporters at Kiltoom on Saturday.

Leitrim champions Kiltubrid were the better team for most of the first half and a goal by full-forward Nick O'Donoghue helped them lead by two points entering first-half injury-time.

However after O'Donoghue blasted a goal chance over the bar the home team swept downfield and full-forward Karol Mannion drilled a low shot to the net. Mannion added a point to leave the home team one point ahead at half-time.

The sides were level with four minutes left but a superb point from a free by Frankie Dolan sparked a strong finish by the Roscommon team. Two further frees from Dolan and a point by Senan Kilbride clinched a first final appearance for St Brigid's.
