St Mary's, Edenderry 2-16 Moyne CS 0-5:ST MARY'S, Edenderry, easily saw off the challenge of Moyne CS at Ballyfore GFC yesterday and finished with a 17-point advantage over the Longford side.
The Offaly side were four points to the good after just six minutes before Darren Garry struck for the first goal of the game after being put through by Mark Bergin.
By half-time St Mary's led by an unassailable 1-12 to 0-1 and, although there was a marked improvement to Moyne's effort and scoring in the second half, the game was effectively over as a contest when substitute Cathal Nolan scored St Mary's second goal.
