CYCLING/DIGEST:Spain's Luis Perez won the 18th stage of the Tour of Spain yesterday after joining a breakaway in the mountains from Talavera de la Reina to Avila.

Australian Cadel Evans and Spaniard Carlos Sastre moved up to second and third overall behind Russian Denis Menchov.

The Tour of Spain finishes on Sunday in Madrid.
