Camogie/ Davitts 3-9 Cashel 1-9: With time almost up in Saturday's All-Ireland club semi-final replay at New Inn, the game appeared to be heading for another draw, as the sides were locked - Cashel 1-9, Davitts 2-6.
However, just like in the opening game, the Davitts were at their best in the closing moments as the Galway champions kept the best wine until the end when Caitriona Kelly knocked in her third goal and Deirdre Murphy sent over 0-3 to put Davitts into next Sunday's All-Ireland club final against reigning All-Ireland champions, St Lachtain's.
Cashel, aided by a first-half wind, went in at the break leading 0-9 to 1-1, the Galway goal having come from Kelly. Captain Lourda Kavanagh started the second-half revival with two points immediately after the break.
Kelly soon grabbed her second goal to give Davitts the lead, 2-5 to 0-9, but back came Cashel four minutes later with a goal by Clare Grogan.
That left only a point in it, in favour of Cashel, and with time almost up, but Davitts put in a storming finish.
