The final of the Lewis Traub League resumed last evening, only to be halted again, this time because sun stopped play!

With the Malahide batsmen having difficulty in the evening glare, play was halted and will resume at 6pm this evening.

Merrion had added 78 to their Saturday total before the halt, with Robbie Stanton the top scorer on 40. For Malahide, Dave McGeehan and Gilmore featured in a good opening stand, scoring 54 and 42 respectively. When stumps were drawn Malahide were 136 for 4, after 34-4 overs.
