Sunshine Street, who finished ninth of the 10 runners in the Budweiser Irish Derby when unsuited by the testing ground, may reappear at the Curragh on Saturday.
"Sunshine Street could run in either the Meld Stakes or the Connell Race, and weather will have a lot to do with because he will only run if the ground is good or faster," said the colt's trainer, Noel Meade, yesterday.
"I gave him a break after the Irish Derby and he will work during the week to see if he ready enough for Saturday," he added.
The going at the Curragh yesterday was good. It was also good when Sunshine Street led until a furlong out in the Epsom Derby, eventually finishing fourth, beaten three lengths by the winner, High-Rise.
