Although Terenure were 30-0 in front by the 47th minute in this Leinster Schools' Junior Cup tie at Donnybrook yesterday, they did not have things all their own way, particularly in the first half.
In fact, after Cormac Langford's third-minute penalty St Paul's pressed for a try until Terenure broke out for right wing David Phillips to go over in the right corner for Langford to convert.
Centre Langford's pin-point place-kicking was lethal. His two second-half penalties sandwiched a James Donnelly try, which was converted by Langford. Indeed with Langford injured, Donnelly had to step up to convert flanker Stephen Kelly's 47th-minute try. St Paul's then bagged two late tries from Daniel D'Arcy and Mark Coleman.
