Sheik Mohammed offered new and amusing evidence supporting the old adage that too many cooks spoil the broth. In an entertaining exchange with the media prior to the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs Mohammed offered the following insight into European racing.
"I bought my first three horses myself. I thought I would win the Guineas with one, the Oaks with another and the Derby with another. People asked, "Who are you and why are you buying horses? Why don't you stay in your tent with your camel?'
"My horses did very well until we employed some experts and then things went downhill."
