Most of the talk in the mixed zone over the first two days of the championships focused on Marion Jones. But then her husband entered the fray.
CJ Hunter, Mr Jones if you like, was the surprise winner of the men's shot putt on the first day of the championships. Arguably the biggest and strongest man here, weighing in around the 21 stone mark, the 30-year-old Hunter, who married Jones in October of last year, didn't expect to match his wife with a gold medal performance in Seville when he jumped from fourth to first on his last throw.
