Tipperary powered their way to the Munster minor hurling final with this impressive win at Thurles. Dermot Gleeson goaled in the 16th minute and Donal Shelly added a smashing second to leave them 2-8 to 0-10 ahead at half-time after facing the wind.
Damien McGrath scored the third in the seventh minute of the second half. Kevin Holmes brought Limerick within four points with a goal, but Tipperary then had five points in six minutes.
